The Westfield Bulldogs defeated the South Lakes Seahawks 73-68 on 12-19 in a non-conference game. Westfield was led by Jordan Hairston’s 31 points. South Lakes was led by Damon Johnson's 24.
Two days later Westfield won big over Lake Braddock 102-70 in another non-conference game. In the 1st quarter Westfield would open up an early double digit lead 28-15. In the 2nd quarter, Westfield outscored the Bruins 21-17, taking a 49-32 halftime advantage. In the 3rd quarter it was much of the same as Westfield outscored Lake Braddock 18-15. In the 4th quarter the Bulldogs scored 35 points while Lake Braddock scored 23. Westfield would break the century mark in the final seconds when Isiah Daniels converted on a 3 pointer.
